In addition to allowing cross-dressers into schools, the Montgomery Township School District also uses its students to promote Black Lives Matter - a Marxist organization that advocates violence and defunding police departments. Montgomery News also said, “bout 12 unexpected adult guests showed up at story time and assembled outside, where the in-person event was held on Monday, June 13…Police were called to the scene to keep the peace.” The Montgomery News reported, “The Montgomery Township Education Association (MTEA) sponsored the optional extracurricular activity for students and their parents.” Please see Conroe ISD - Code of Conduct.In June 2022, Montgomery Village Elementary School (VES) - located in the Montgomery Township School District - officially hosted a drag queen story hour for students in grades K-4. In accordance with Education Code 37.105 and District’s Code of Conduct, the District has the right to refuse entry to or eject a person from property under the District's control if the person refuses to leave peaceably upon request. ![]() The District is required by Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as Board policy not to discriminate in such a manner.
